Left Lost

In case you are wondering about the title of this entry, it means Left is Lost. We have a self-acclaimed Super-Packer in the family and that's none other than my dear husband. He disapproves my style of packing which is last minute, slow and detailed. Too detailed for him. So he took upon the great task of packing during vacation. Unpacking which to him is boring is back to moi. Bluek. After 10 looooong days in Orlando and tonnes of soiled laundry to pack, he did what he did best. We had a carseat, a stroller, 2 hard cases, 1 trolley bag, 1 hand carry and a diaper bag. As one would know that USA regulation states that unless travellers have a TSA lock on the luggage, they are not allowed to lock their luggages to facilitate inspections. And the trolley bag didn't have one. It was left unlocked. Because the bag is a soft zipper type bag it's not hard for things to fall out. So before we rolled the bags into luggage belt, I reminded SP (Super-Packer) to lock the luggage regardless cos I saw the bag so fat and felt something amiss. He didn't give me any reply. Result : Isaac's brand new Timberland snow boots fell out. Just the left boot. Upset habis! We called the airports and airlines and even went to the airport to lodge a report. Unfortunately they were no one at the Delta office at that time. Arrrggghhh!! So now we are left with a right boot. I may want to frame it up to honour SP.

*Anyway SP felt sorry and got his colleague who went to Orlando for Raya hols to get us a new pair. I haven't seen them yet but they are somewhere in Calgary. Both left and right.
