I have been introduced to the real life story of this family by a friend in Singapore and have been following the progress in their lives since. Sometimes imagining myself in Cynthia's toe-pricking shoes where her husband left her for her good friend while she was expecting their second child. She fought alone as the heartbreaking news came without any warning. Life for her begins to chnage to being a single working mom to two kids (Jase and Char) and bread winner for her family as well. All was challenging but worthwhile. She comes home to two lovely kids, the loves of her life. Little did she know a monster was awaiting at the door. One day, Cynthia found out that little Charmaine was diagnosed with a cancer so rare medical fees is unthinkable.
